Would definitely come back! Good selections, nice view of the little dam in town, and courteous staff. My husband and I enjoyed the sirloin, he had salad and I had the cream of cauliflower, both had baked potatoes with our dishes. Small dining section, decent sized bar area, and accessible parking.

First time there this month, we ordered a pizza and hamburger steak. Cheese on top of pizza was burned and the hamburger steak was not cooked all the way through! Told the server, she was busy and didn't have time to address our poor food quality. At the time we checked out, the lady in charge that night said she was not authorized to adjust our bill, however she did so, which prevented us further time spent on this meal. Would not recommend, nor will we go back.

Since this place got such good reviews, while we were staying at the Heidel House, we decided to come here for the Friday Fish Fry. Bad move, apparently. We were seated for about 20 minutes before having anyone ask for our drink or food orders. That was especially surprising given the small size of the restaurant and (even though it was busy) the two waitresses and a hostess walking around taking others' orders and delivering other patrons' food. The hostess eventually noticed that we had been left unattended and apologized profusely, clearly angry at a particular waitress who she named who had been supposed to take care of our table. The waitress didn't even come until 5-10 minutes after the hostess apologized and promised someone else would be right over to take care of us. I expected an apology...maybe a free drink (?) but we received nothing. So, then the waitress took our orders - and they were out of the side I wanted (that was written on the specials board), but that happens, so we ordered Fat Tire beer (listed on tap) and each got the Fish Fry Plate. She hurredly left, then we didn't see her for another 10-15 minutes, and she came back to tell us that unfortunately they were out of Fat Tire. So we got Spotted Cows. When the food came, we were also disappointed with the low-quality. The coleslaw I got was so covered in mayo/cream that I considered it to be inedible. My boyfriend's clam chowder was luke-warm and he figured, probably just from a can of Campbell's. The bread that we got to start with was somewhat stale and cold and seemed to be straight from a bread loaf from a local supermarket (we guessed). The fish itself didn't seem fresh (reminded me fish sticks I had when I was little), even though we were a 1 minute walk from Green Lake itself. In the end, bad service + bad food = one star. The night before, we had gone to Gooseblind Bar and Grill and were much happier with the service and the food - so I would definitely recommend that place over Adam's Rib.

Overpriced , bad service. The salmon was overcooked, very dissatisfied. The cussing at the bar want helping either.

If you're looking for a gourmet meal, Adam's Rib is probably not the place you want to go. However, if you're looking for a simple fish fry or burger, this place is a good choice. Prices are good and it's pretty fast. Definitely not the best ambiance and not super clean. The service is ok. Not very friendly or appreciative of your business. Even though, I'd go back.

We are a BIG fan of Adam's Ribs. We always try to stop in when we are at Green Lake - the staff is typically very friendly. The prime rib sandwich is a favorite as well as the tacos and Bloody Mary's. It is a good place to stop in and have a drink and quick bite or sit and watch a game.

Went here for dinner on a Friday night just after the 4th of July. Although we had a reservation, the place was already packed and we waited at the bar for about 20 minutes. That being said, our service was simply outstanding. The wait staff was knowledable, funny, and relaxed despite the sheer number of people there and we never felt we were waiting for service, or food. Over half our group got the ribs. They were extremely tasty, and the bbq sauce had a gentle kick and a bit of sugar, just the right spot between hot and sweet. They were "fall off the bone" good. The two soups that evening, chicken dumpling and beer cheese, were both equally good and highly recommended. For my side, I ordered the hash browns with green peppers, onions and cheese and they clearly were separately baked in a small pan. They were amazingly delicious and a huge portion. The bartender did a great job with our Manhattans and Old Fashioneds. I'd be more than happy to go back and try other things on the menu. Very good food and simply amazing service. Loved it.

Went here with a group of girlfriends. I had been up to Adams Rib a couple of times for drinks, but after dining here last night I became very impressed. A couple of us ordered a half-slab of their ribs and for desert the bread-pudding.The best part for me was the ribs, plenty of meat on the bone and very tender! I should've ordered the full-slab (that's how delicious they were!) They came out so tasty. I would definitely recommend the bread-pudding for dessert though.....so good! The ambiance is quite pleasant, very home-like. The service was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome since a lot of us were from out of town. Also, our group got seated at a table overlooking the Green Lake dam; which was great!

Came here after a long day of ice fishing with the girls and we were starving. Had the prime rib and it was gigantic and perfectly seasoned. Salads, rolls and soups came out immediately after we ordered. Drinks were strong and reasonable. Service was super efficient and friendly. Will be back next time we're on the lake.

We have a lake house about 40 minutes north of Green Lake and had heard about Adam's Rib so one night I took a group of five of us to check it out. What a great experience. I would first like to comment on the service as this seems to be lacking in so many restaurants these days. In a word, outstanding. When we arrived the place was shoulder to shoulder packed. Despite the obviously large group of people, our first greeting was not a hurried, "Reservation? How many?" It was a warm, gracious "Hi!" It was as if we were the most important people in the room and, yet, this was how everyone was greeted upon arrival. This warm, inviting, "you are welcome in our home," continued from everyone we met from the bartender to the servers, to the bus help. We never waited or wanted for anything. Everyone helped everyone else so it felt as though we had 3 or 4 people taking care of us at all times. Something else I noticed was the way every service employee made direct eye contact with you. We really felt like we were among old friends. Which brings me to our food. Servers were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer any questions. We ordered a few appetizers which were brought quickly and served hot. Most of us ordered ribs for dinner and one ordered the perch. Ribs were meaty, fall off the bone and BIG. Full of flavor even before the BBQ sauce goes on. The BBQ sauce was excellent with just the perfect amount of sweet and heat...that little kick at the end just makes you want to eat more. Entrees are served with either soup or salad and choice of potato. We ordered both soups and a salad so we could try everything. The beer cheese soup is to die for. I would also recommend the twice baked potato or hash browns for a side. The hash browns with peppers and onions (we also added the options of cheese and mushrooms) will bring you back a second time just to try them again! Between the warm, friendly, extremely gracious service and the quality of food I can say we all decided we would make the trip again. Well worth it! One tip - if going on the weekend, a reservation is a pretty good idea!

We went here for dinner before heading out for drinks, and the food was alright. It was cooked right, the dishes/silverware were clean, and our table was set. I wasn't blown away by the food, but it was satisfying. Prices were very reasonable, and service was awesome- our waitress was quick, friendly, and when a member of our party didn't like his steak, she took it off of the bill, without him even asking. I'll be back, it's a great standard type of place.

Went there with my family over the 4th of July weekend. We had an early reservation and they were already full by the time we got there. The hostess was very friendly and were seated promptly. Most of us had the ribs. They were very good with the right amount of heat and sweet!. Our waitress was very knowledgable, friendly, and the service was excellent. We all would definitely go back and recommend Adam's Rib. A treasure for sure.

I've been making the Chicago, Green Lake trek since I was a kid with my family. Eating at Adams Rib was always must when we were in town. Unfortunately in 2009 something happened to our favorite Wisconsin supper club and it wasn't for the better. The last straw for us was when our table of 4 all had a bad experience which was really unfortunate. We absolutely loved the food at Adams Rib up until then. Everything on the menu was usually spot on, their BBQ Ribs and fried perch are my favorite. Well we decided to give them a second chance this year at the end of the season and we were pleasantly surprised! The service was good and the food was even better with some of the best BBQ ribs I've had in sometime. Hopefully Adams Rib has ironed out their inconstant kitchen issues for good! Time will tell but I would really like to give them a better review cause I've always loved this place.
